Senior Procurement Executive
Senior Procurement Executive shall report to the Procurement Manager/Production Manager
The main duties are as follows :
- Responsible for procurement of all required materials and services.
- Sourcing new suppliers; sending inquiries and obtaining quotes from various suppliers/subcontractors as per material specifications, BOQ and approved drawings.
- Preparation of price comparisons (with 3 quotations) for approvals and obtaining approvals from the authority for the procurement process orders.
- Negotiating of rates with suppliers in accordance with Corporate Compliance rules and regulations.
- Monitor all materials are delivered within the agreed lead time.
- Managing store to ensure all consumables and production items are stocked to the minimum quantity.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, specifically in precast procurement activities.
- Possess good communications in Mandarin as required to liaise with vendor/customer who speaking in Mandarin.
- Good communication skills in Mandarin, Malay & English.
- Candidate with Konverge experience will be added advantage.
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Production Supervisor
a) Production Supervisor shall report to the Production Executive
b) The main duties are as follows :
- To lead the production operatives within the assigned production line, establishing and maintaining high standards of performance.
- Responsible for leading and coordinating the production of assigned mould including activities of Sub-Contractor to achieve production within the day and to the quality standard required.
- Supervision in the daily production of precast concrete to meet with the production schedule.
- Ensure sufficient of raw material of daily usage in accordance to daily production schedule, reporting to immediate superior if needed.
- Prepare and conduct mould inspection and pre-pour inspection on daily basis, prepare checklist and relevant inspection reports.
- Maintain production’s documentation well-records.
- Ensuring the plant production operation, work instructions and procedures are strictly followed.
- Closely standing supervision of concrete pours and check continuously of finishes surface towards conformance to specifications and standards.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements if needed.
- To ensure that workers are adequately skilled and experienced in following and understanding correct production methods.
- Maintain and implement quality control system in the factory and project sites by following the project quality manual and standard operating procedures set by the company.
- Liaising with Production Department’s member and sub-contractors for any non-conformance for pre-pour inspection, trains workers whenever necessary and as required.
- Any other tasks which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering and/ or equivalent.
- At least 2 years' experience in quality control in precast industry.
- Experience in precast industry (HDB Project).
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Possess problem-solving, analyzing and reporting skills.
- Positive attitude in learning.
Logistics Supervisor (pre-delivery)
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the smooth delivery of finished goods from production to job sites, including escorting oversize/overheight goods.
- Assist in preparing full sets of commercial documentation, such as packing lists, DOs, and invoices.
- Coordinate with the shipping agent for customs clearance processes.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs regulations, and legal and health & safety requirements.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage logistics operations to ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure high-quality goods are delivered.
- Manage logistics processes by coordinating with internal departments and external parties.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or any other relevant field.
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics management.
- Experience in the precast manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Safety Supervisor
- Safety Supervisor shall report to the Safety Officer / Safety Manager / Assistant Plant Manager.
- Job Overview: The Safety Supervisor is responsible for implementing and enforcing health and safety policies and procedures on precast production sites. This role ensures compliance with local regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.
The main duties are as follows:
- Identifying potential risks within the work environment and identify unsafe act and unsafe condition at factory.
- To assist in liaise with local authorities for Safety & Health Matter.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures within the precast yard and project sites.
- Issue Permit To Work (PTW) for related works and review work method statement (MS) on safety & health matters.
- Daily Workplace unsafe act & condition monitoring.
- Ensure proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all staff and visitors.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for new and existing workers.
- Monitoring all related factory activities and conducting regular inspection and ensuring the work being carried out is in line with approved JSA, Risk Assessment, Method statement and approved.
- Permit to Work System for every activity being carried out.
- Assist the Safety Officer to organize and lead site investigation and mitigate and safety incidents, if occurred.
- To assist in conducting induction and toolbox meeting and safety task briefing to workers and sub-contractors.
- To assist in monitoring all the factory machineries routine physical inspections & records keepings such as gantry/overhead cranes, rebar machines, turn table, lifting gears & etc.
- To assist in monitoring all the factory electrical hand and power tools routine physical inspection & to assist in records keepings such as hacker, grinder, welding set & etc.
- Weekly workplace and plant audit.
- Maintain safety records, reports, compilation & submission of documents & records related to Occupational Safety & Health.
- Any other duties and responsibilities that assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certificate issued by CIDB Malaysia.
- Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or related field is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a precast or construction environment.
- Good knowledge of local safety laws and industry practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
