• Plant Manager shall report to the Senior Manager & General Manager

Job Summary

The Manager is responsible to manage the overall factory and to ensure that its operation runs smoothly. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure production schedules meet customer demand and delivery deadlines
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the precast production factory
• Monitor and manage production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
• Manage inventory levels and raw materials procurement to optimize production efficiency and minimize costs
• To train and mentor production staff to improve skills and performance
• To conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to production staff
• Maintain production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
• To prepare regular reports on production performance, including output, quality and efficiency metrics
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement and growth
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, ensure compliance with all safety regulations

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil Engineering) or equivalent
• 6-10 years of working experiences in precast industry
• Takes ownership over task assigned and performs independently

Production Engineer

Report

• Production Engineer shall report to the Senior Production Engineer

Duties

• Oversees the plant production operation and ensures that all work instructions and procedures are strictly followed.
• Collaborate with Production Engineer (Konverge) to organize, developing plans and effective scheduling of rules for optimum utilization of production capacity.
• Ensure execution of production progress are follow the production schedule within the time frame given.
• Liaising and coordinate between Contract Department, Procurement Department, QAQC Department, Mould team and Sub-contractor to ensure smooth of daily production.
• Collaborate with QAQC Department, initiate to identify and diagnosing the root cause of product’s defect to improve production’s efficiency.
• Ensures the quality of the production of precast concrete components in accordance with latest approved shop drawings, work instructions, casting programme & approved quality control methods.
• To perform of full inspection of mould receiving and daily pre-pour inspections of precast components with consultant’s representative according to approved precast shop drawings.
• Assist Production Engineer (Konverge) to monitoring and controlling material usage and wastage are within tolerance.
• To assist Senior Production Engineer in managing a team of Production Supervisors, and workers in ensuring timely production and delivery of precast components. Disseminate through Production Executive if needed.
• Providing necessary production’s documentation to Data Entry Clerk.
• Maintain and implement quality control system in the factory and project sites by following the project quality manual and standard operating procedures set by the company.
• Liaising with Production Department’s member and sub-contractors for any non-conformance for pre-pour inspection, trains workers whenever necessary and as required.
• Any other tasks which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experiences in Construction (Preferably in Precast)
• Knowledge of Autocad would be an advantage
• Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork

Production Supervisor

Report

• Production Supervisor shall report to the Production Executive

Duties

• To lead the production operatives within the assigned production line, establishing and maintaining high standards of performance.
• Responsible for leading and coordinating the production of assigned mould including activities of Sub-Contractor to achieve production within the day and to the quality standard required.
• Supervision in the daily production of precast concrete to meet with the production schedule.
• Ensure sufficient of raw material of daily usage in accordance to daily production schedule, reporting to immediate superior if needed.
• Prepare and conduct mould inspection and pre-pour inspection on daily basis, prepare checklist and relevant inspection reports.
• Maintain production’s documentation well-records.
• Ensuring the plant production operation, work instructions and procedures are strictly followed.
• Closely standing supervision of concrete pours and check continuously of finishes surface towards conformance to specifications and standards.
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements if needed.
• To ensure that workers are adequately skilled and experienced in following and understanding correct production methods.
• Maintain and implement quality control system in the factory and project sites by following the project quality manual and standard operating procedures set by the company.
• Liaising with Production Department’s member and sub-contractors for any non-conformance for pre-pour inspection, trains workers whenever necessary and as required.
• Any other tasks which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering and/ or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience in quality control in precast industry.
• Experience in precast industry (HDB Project)
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Possess problem-solving, analyzing and reporting skills.
• Positive attitude in learning.
